Scientific advances brought us the era of Bioloids,
biotechnology-born humanoid robots used in healthcare
and high risk labor industries.

In an attempt to increase profits and reduce costs,
the manufacturer of Bioloids modified the Bioloid
for mass production.

The new model was intended for lifestyle, specifically
to satisfy male sexual desires. It was a massive hit, at
only half the cost of the industrial model, but more importantly,
it integrated 3D printing technology and a realistic
silicon coating that allowed the user to customize and
exactly copy a real person's appearance and texture.

Flooding the market, the new Bioloid was branded
as passive entertainment, and given a name:

Bioloidoll.
